Take Me Out to the Baaaaaallgame!

Hey, ladies! As you've heard, we are planning on catching a game out at Kauffman Stadium while everyone is in Kansas City - the game is scheduled at 6:10pm on Saturday, June 5, 2010 against the Detroit Tigers. It sounds like we'll be able to get a section of seats together in Outfield Box 250:

...which will be right above the Royals bullpen and right below the Bud Light Party Deck...all in all, I think that it could be a pretty entertaining location.

The tickets will be $22 per person - what I need from all of you is an idea of how many of you are planning on going to the baseball game (and if you're planning on bringing anyone with you - husbands, boyfriends, pals, kids, whoever are more than welcome to come along).

Please let me know in the comments section or via email if you're seriously planning on coming out to the game (we need to put down a 50% deposit in order to reserve the seats, so we need a pretty accurate number).

We will plan to meet up before the game somewhere in Kansas City so that we can carpool to the game - that way we can save on parking AND have parking spaces close to one another in order to facilitate a little pre-game tailgating.

Welcome, ladies, to our 2001 Pledge Class Reunion blog. Trish and I thought that this might be a good way to keep everyone up to date on plans, events and information regarding our upcoming pledge class reunion (since we're not all on facebook).


Feel free to leave comments or suggestions in the comment area below - Trish and I will keep an eye on things and continue to post more information as we finalize plans and get closer to the actual weekend.

Friday night: Girls Night Out

Saturday morning: The Hospital Hill Run is going on downtown/midtown. We thought it would be fun for whoever wants to race to compete in the 5k, 10k or half marathon that morning, followed by a brunch.
On Saturday night, we'd like to plan a group trip to a baseball game - either The Royals or The T-Bones. Does anyone have a preference? The Royals tickets will be between $10-20 (depending on where we sit) and the T-Bones will be $5.50-ish. Let us know in the comments if you have a strong opinion one way or another. We're thinking this will be a significant other/family/other Theta friends event, so we'll want to start gathering numbers in order to plan an awesome tailgate.

Sunday morning: Brunch
